Attention, graffiti spray-painters: Philadelphia's police are after you, and it's "no more Mr. Nice Guy" time.
A police crackdown Wednesday netted all 16 people named in arrest warrants as members of incorrigible spray-painting gangs, which go by titles such as the CIA (Crazy Insane Artists) and YSI (You See It).
The arrests are good news, but what's better is the city's vow to prosecute these young vandals. In the past, the city has released graffiti painters if they vowed not to do it anymore, but the evidence that such leniency isn't working is as clear as the spray-painted mess covering walls throughout Philadelphia.
