State, county and local police served a search warrant at a house in the 1300 block of Copeland School Road in West Whiteland Township on suspicion of narcotics.

The warrant was served at 2:55 a.m. Dec. 6 as the residents returned home. Joining in the search were West Whiteland and West Chester police, state police from the Region II strike force, the Chester County detective strike force and narcotics agents.

Police said about 1/2-ounce of cocaine, with a street value of $600, and a loaded .38-caliber revolver were found in the suspects' car during the search.

In a search of the residence, police confiscated a large amount of packing material, scales, and what they said were records of drug transactions.

Police also said they confiscated 1/8-ounce bags of cocaine from each of two male suspects.

Arrested were Thomas Moeller, 38, and Walter Hunsicker, 30, both of the Copeland School Road residence and Sharon McGrogan, 27, of Pickwick Lane in Newtown Square. The three were charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver and criminal conspiracy.

District Magistrate Armand Pomante released McGrogan on a nominal bail of $1, but set bail for Moeller and Hunsicker at $50,000 each.
