The mercury may be falling but, as far as CBS is concerned, it's bathing suit time. Time for the Miss U.S.A. pageant, that is. The pageant, to be televised live on Feb. 17 from 9-11 p.m. on Channel 10, has been moved from May until the more-important ratings month of February.

This year, Bob Barker and Mary Frann will be hosting from White Sands, N.M.

If asked, Mike Bowe might not have picked such a revealing way to celebrate his 10th anniversary on WMGK-FM 103. But, hey, nobody asked him.

His wife, Deborah, supplied MGK with some of Mike's early bloopers and audition tapes that will be aired throughout today. Bowe's reaction can be heard during his 1:30-6 p.m. shift.

Since Pennsylvania state Treasurer R. Budd Dwyer's Jan. 22 suicide, his widow, Joanne, has been fulfilling his last request. "Please make sure," Dwyer wrote to his family in his suicide note, "that the sacrifice of my life is not in vain." Joanne interprets her mission to speak out against the plea-bargaining system.

A week after Dwyer's death, Channel 10's Stephanie Stahl interviewed Joanne in her Hershey home for a two-part report. KYW's Harrisburg reporter Dave Sollenberger also interviewed her.

On Monday, Joanne Dwyer will present her arguments to Wally Kennedy and Lizbeth Starr on AM/Philadelphia (channel 6, 10 a.m.) and will accept viewer telephone calls. Also, KYW's Terri Merryman plans to talk to her next week.

Daily News sportswriter Dick Weiss will be the guest host for WCAU-AM (1210) radio "Sports Line Weekend Edition" on Sunday, 5-8 p.m. One of his guests will be former Temple All-America Guy Rodgers, a member of the Big 5 Hall of Fame.
