Tonight's "Sounds of Freedom" concert featuring actress Cicely Tyson and Philly singer Al Martino will be broadcast by WPEN (AM/950) from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m. Tyson narrates the pageant - called "A Tribute to the Past" - being held on The Parkway.

Performing with Martino are the Philadelphia Boys Choir and Men's Chorale, the Gospel Choir of the Fellowship Tabernacle Church of God in Christ, and the Freedom Festival Orchestra. There will be special laser effects you won't be able to see on radio, but you'll hear the fireworks finale. WPEN's Andy Hopkins will handle the announcing end.

WCAU (AM/1210). Nancy Birnes, author of a book called "Cheaper and Better," talks on how to buy quality products for less money tomorrow at 10 on Anita Gevinson.

WFLN (FM/95.7). On "Collier-at-Large," at 12:05 tomorrow afternoon, Ralph Collier talks with Barry Farber, a radio talk show host and author of "Making People Talk."
