Karyn Blum of Philadelphia has been named assistant manager of the Springfield Mall in Springfield.
Blum will be responsible for public relations and community events at the mall. Before her appointment, she worked for Addison-Wesley Publishing Co., with headquarters in Reading, Mass. Blum has a bachelor's degree in sociology
from the University of Delaware.
Kenneth Wenrich of Newtown Square has been named executive director of Metropolitan Hospital-Springfield Division in Springfield.
Before joining the hospital, Wenrich was senior vice president of Adult Communities Total Services Inc. in Spring House, which develops, markets and manages life-care communities. He also had been vice president of General Arabian Medical & Allied Services in Saudi Arabia, which manages hospitals, clinics and support services for large residential complexes.
Wenrich has a bachelor's degree from Drexel University and a master of business administration degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He has a master of science degree from Columbia University in New York and is a fellow in the American College of Health Care Executives.
Carrie Gilbert of Wallingford has been named assistant vice president of operations for The Nichols Co., a suburban real estate development firm with headquarters in Plymouth Meeting.
In her new position, Gilbert will be responsible for administrative and managerial functions, which include personnel and benefits coordination.
Gilbert joined Nichols in 1983 when the company began operations.
Steven Madonna of Drexel Hill has joined Roach Bros. Realtors as a sales associate in the company's Havertown office. Before joining Roach Bros., Madonna worked with Madonna & Sons Builders in Ocean City, N.J.
