CHILD'S PLAY TOURING THEATER. Fun! New Voices, a presentation of Child's Play Touring Theater, will premiere original works of four area students today and tomorrow at the Annenberg Center. The troupe, a Chicago-based touring children's theater, specializes in performing original plays written by children across America. The ensemble of four actors transforms the ideas into colorful and funny plays for young audiences.
Last fall, local students from kindergarten through eighth grade were invited to contribute original stories, plays and poems to the company for consideration. The works chosen were written by Abby Feller (Wyncote Elementary), Leah Horowitz and Andrea Lankin (Myers Elementary), and Andrea Leombruni (Keith Valley School).

OPERA FOR KIDS. The June Opera Festival of New Jersey presents The Magic of Rhyme on Sunday at the New Jersey State Museum in Trenton. Although opera is ordinarily a genre for grown-ups, the easy-to-understand story of The Magic of Rhyme was written specifically for children. This opera features a magician who must remember a magic rhyme in order to save a beautiful unicorn from a bloodthirsty hunter, and includes magic tricks and a happy ending.

HEDGEROW THEATER. A musical version of The King's New Clothes will be performed tomorrow by Hedgerow Theater at Delaware County Community College. Presented by the Kidstuff Series for Children, the Hans Christian Andersen classic tells the story of a clothes-conscious king who demands fancy costumes, and learns an important lesson about vanity.

BALLET AND PUPPETRY. Ballet South Company, a community ballet company, will perform Peter and the Wolf this weekend at Glassboro State College Center for the Arts.
