WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — The Wilmington Blue Rocks are one game away from elimination after losing to Winston-Salem, 5-2, last night in the best-of-five Carolina League championship series.
Roman Martinez's solo homer accounted for one of the Blue Rocks' runs.
Winston-Salem leads the series by 2-1 and can clinch the title this afternoon when the teams meet again.
