Want to put your mouth on the harmonica Billy Joel played at the Spectrum, your hands on the original lyric sheets to "Harvest Moon" penned by Neil Young or on a 10-CD box set signed by the three survivors of Led Zeppelin? These and dozens of rock and sports memorabilia will be up for grabs at Sunday's Rock & Roll and Sports Charity Auction at TLA.

Slick new guitars - likely to be nabbed for $500-$2,000 each - include an intact Telecaster signed by guitar demolisher Pete Townshend, a B.B. King ''Lucille" model with King's penned monicker, a limited-edition Rickenbacker 12-string autographed by Tom Petty, and other six-stringers scrawled on by Aerosmith, Steely Dan, Keith Richard, Bon Jovi, Steve Miller, Ottmar Liebert and more.

Story continues below.

A "Heroes" self-portrait autographed by David Bowie, a signed copy of Madonna's "Sex" photo book and a "24 Nights" lithograph with Eric Clapton's sig top the artwork offerings.

Sports items include World Series baseballs signed by Phillies stars and a Joe Montana jersey.

Official tour jackets and gold records (for Meat Loaf and the Rolling Stones) to be customized with the high bidder's name are up for auction.

In the rare category is stage clothing from Van Halen, a T-shirt signed by Nirvana, a Beatles photo with the signature of producer George Martin and a copy of D.H. Lawrence's "Apocalypse," signed by Pearl Jam. According to event spokesman Jim Sutcliffe, Pearl Jam "normally avoids memorabilia giveways but was excited by our event's purpose."

Sponsored by WMMR and the Philadelphia Music Alliance, the auction benefits music education programs, workshops and scholarships for urban students.
