Joseph G. Connor Sr., 84, a college professor and administrator, died Tuesday at his home in Ocean City, N.J.
Born in Philadelphia, Mr. Connor was a 1926 graduate of Roman Catholic High School. He graduated from st. Joseph's College in 1933 with a degree in philosophy.
In 1946, he joined George Washington University as a physics instructor. He later became registrar for the university.
He completed his doctorate in philosophy at Georgetown in 1958. In 1963, he was appointed dean of graduate studies at Seton Hall University. He retired in 1974.
