READING — Two former No. 1 draft picks of the Phillies - Jeff Jackson and Chad McConnell - helped Reading sweep an Eastern League doubleheader from Trenton last night.
McConnell hit a three-run homer to lead Reading to a 5-2 win in the first game. Reading used Jackson's grand slam to win the second, 5-1.
