EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — The New York/New Jersey MetroStars clinched a spot in the Major League Soccer playoffs with a 1-0 win over the Columbus Crew last night.
Antony DeAvila got the goal for the MetroStars, who are third in the MLS Eastern Division standings.
