Donations on Tuesday will benefit the Upper Darby School District for students in need. Wednesday's will be to help defray medical expenses for a 23-year-old Upper Darby resident awaiting a heart transplant. Proceeds from Thursday's concert will go to the Red Cross International Social Services Committee.
* New Horizons Fellowship, 101 Baltimore Pike, Chadds Ford, will present a program by Forefront recording artist Eli at 10:45 a.m. Sunday.
SERVICES * ``A Night of Love'' is the name given to a six-hour devotion that will be held from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m. tonight at St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church, 50 W. Walker Rd., Wayne.
The evening begins with the sacrament of reconciliation at 9:30 p.m. followed by a Mass of the Sacred Heart of Jesus at 11:15 p.m.
Refreshments follow at midnight. A Mass of the Immaculate Heart of Mary will be said at 2:30 a.m.
* The fourth annual celebration of the Feast of Our Lady of Knock will be held beginning with a rosary and benediction at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 19 and 20 at Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, MacDade Boulevard and Main Street, Darby.
At 5:30 p.m. Aug. 21, a Mass will be celebrated in the church hall.
Following the Mass, there will be food and music by Skibbereen. The cost for the meal is $15 for adults and $5 for children 12 and over. Children under 12 are admitted free.
The celebration is sponsored by the Black Jack Kehoe Division of the Ancient Order of Hibernians. Proceeds go to the support of the Mothers' Home on the grounds of the church.

PEOPLE * The Rev. Richard W. Howarth as been named pastor of Spring City United Methodist Church. He is a graduate of the Theological School of Drew University and is the former pastor of Ridge Avenue United Methodist Church in Philadelphia.
