German, of the 300 block of Swarthmore Avenue, Folsom, was accused of indecently assaulting the boy after she invited him into her bedroom to see her computer, according to a police affidavit.
German showed him a picture of a nude man on the computer screen and then indecently assaulted the boy, the affidavit states. After he left, she sent him pictures of nude women over the Internet, the affidavit states.
Assistant District Attorney Michael Galantino said police arrested German after she spoke to two bus aides about the boy, describing him in a sexually explicit manner. The aides alerted school officials, who contacted police Nov. 13, Galantino said.
"It was a combination of the boy's resistance and the assistance of the two bus aides in bringing it to light that prevented it from becoming more serious," Galantino said.
After the plea, defense attorney Eileen Courtney said German's conversation with the bus aides was a cry for help.
Judge Robert C. Wright ordered a psychosexual evaluation.
"Hopefully, the therapy is going to be helpful," Courtney said.
German, a Ridley High School graduate who worked as a beautician for five years and as a Ridley Township bus driver for eight years, has three children, ages 6, 8 and 10. She is getting a divorce and will have supervised visitation of her children, Courtney said. Wright also ordered that she have no contact with the boy or her two former coworkers.
