Put on those dancing shoes for 30th annual Polish Festival

Prepare to polka at the 30th annual Polish Festival July 27 to 29 at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in the Swedesburg community of Upper Merion.

The festival will feature polka music by a different band each evening and an abundance of homemade Polish food, organizers said.

Festivities are scheduled from 6 to 11 p.m. July 27; 4 to 11 p.m. July 28; and 4 to 10 p.m. July 29 at the church grounds at Fourth and Jefferson Streets in Swedesburg. Admission and parking are free.

Service projects

Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church at 625 Montgomery Ave. is organizing community service programs for teenagers from 1 to 4 p.m. on Tuesdays from July 3 through Aug. 7. Participants will meet at the church ministries center and travel to various project sites. For information, call 610-525-2821.

Torah study

Temple Brith Achim at 481 S. Gulph Rd. in King of Prussia will hold Torah study at 9 a.m. on Saturdays beginning July 7 in its library.

Forums for young adults

St. Alban's Episcopal Church, 3625 Chapel Rd., Newtown Square, is holding Thursday evening discussion groups this summer for young adults. The informal sessions, led by the Rev. Kirk Berlenbach, curate at St. Alban's, are scheduled from 7 to 8:30 p.m. weekly, with the exceptions of July 5 and 12. The programs are open to young adults past high-school age in Newtown Square and surrounding communities. They provide a place where participants can meet friends and discuss everything from movies to issues concerning contemporary young people.
