LETTERS Save us from sex, drugs, violence

Posted: August 14, 2001

READING about the couple arrested for profiting from child pornography and the next day about Kama Sutra parlors, I am upset about the future of our children. Why can't the government control what is shown in movie theaters, on TV and the internet? They fork out billions to get to space or on some other venture, which does not address the immediate problem - our children are lost and forgotten. Can't somebody help get rid of the violence, sex and drugs viewed daily?
