The Kixx used four restart goals to take a 14-10 win over the league-leading Milwaukee Wave in an MISL game at the First Union Spectrum last night.
Kevin Sloan scored twice for the second-place Kixx (26-13) and Omid Namazi had three assists. Substitute goalkeeper Stuart Dobson, who stopped eight of 13 shots, improved to 5-3.
The win narrowed the Wave's lead over the Kixx to 2 1/2 games. The Kixx' 26th win tied a franchise record set in the 1997-98 season.
