JUST FINISHED reading Christine M. Flowers' op-ed on America's moral superiority.
Christine, you overlooked something in your recount of America's long moral history. What about slavery? What about public lynchings and Jim Crow? What about the Native Americans and "manifest destiny"?
America has no moral superiority. As a black man, the likes of George Bush scare me more than any Arab. War is hell. Zarqawi may have committed some barbaric acts, but he never carried out any attacks on American soil.
