Virginia guard Sean Singletary will declare for the NBA draft, but is not planning to hire an agent, leaving open the possibility of a return for his senior season.
The 6-foot junior, an all-Atlantic Coast Conference player who starred at Penn Charter, maintained repeatedly this season he would be back for his senior year.
"I have discussed this situation with my family and coach [Dave] Leitao," Singletary said in a statement. "I want to continue to consider all of my options and learn as much as I can about the process. This gives me that opportunity while retaining the option of returning to Virginia."
