Four injured when police wagon and car collide

Four people, including two police officers, were injured last night when a police wagon and an automobile collided in West Philadelphia.

The incident, which occurred about 8 p.m., took place at 50th Street and Westminster Avenue. It was not immediately clear who hit whom, said Cpl. Lisa Bachman of the Accident Investigation Division.

The officers aboard the van and the car's driver and passenger were taken to the Hospital at the University of Pennsylvania with non-life-threatening injuries, according to Bachman. Their names were not released. - Lini S. Kadaba
