Rte. 401 construction in W. Vincent Twp. is delayed

Posted: August 02, 2007

The scheduled closure of Route 401 in West Vincent Township, Chester County, which was to begin yesterday, has been postponed until Aug. 15, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said.

The delay is due to issues involving utility permits, PennDot said.

Route 401 (Conestoga Road) will now be closed Aug. 15 to 29 between Rachael Drive and Lexington Avenue for road widening and the installation of water mains and storm sewers. - Inquirer staff
