As the temperature rises and the task of cooking becomes more daunting, check out Quince Fine Foods, a new shop featuring a variety of imported and prepared foods with a Spanish flair.

I was especially impressed with the generous "Quince Special" sandwich. Served on crusty bread, it is filled with the traditional pairing of tangy manchego cheese and sweet-tart quince paste, along with layers of cured pork loin. A real treat.
