Stolen bases helped the Phillies win two of four games in their recent sweep of the Mets.

On Tuesday, Shane Victorino stole second in the eighth inning, went to third on the resulting throwing error by Mets catcher Paul Lo Duca, and scored the tying run on Aaron Rowand's infield hit. On Thursday, Jayson Werth and Tadahito Iguchi combined for three stolen bases in the ninth inning against Billy Wagner. Werth scored the tying run and Iguchi the winning run in a wild 11-10 win.

Entering Friday, the Phils had stolen 111 bases and been caught just 16 times. That 87.4 percent success rate was the best in the majors. The Mets were second with a success rate of 82.4 (173 for 210).
