The Kixx got just one goal last night and lost their third consecutive game in the Major Indoor Soccer League, falling to the Chicago Storm, 9-2, at the Wachovia Spectrum.
The defending league champions got a two-point goal from Pat Morris early in the third quarter to tie the game, 2-2.
But nothing went right after that and the Kixx fell to 2-7 while Chicago improved to 6-1.
Mariano Bollella scored just 51 seconds into the game, and that held up for a 2-0 Chicago lead into halftime.
