$105 million jackpot tonight in N.J.

The Mega Millions lottery, played in New Jersey and 11 other states, will have a nine-digit jackpot tonight - the first time in a couple of months.

Tonight's $105 million is the biggest since a $196 million prize was snagged by a single Ohio ticket on May 16.

Who won is a mystery because the 26 yearly payments were claimed by a lawyer for a blind trust.

Mega Millions also offers a lump-sum payout option, which for tonight's drawing is an estimated $64.3 million.

Tomorrow night, Powerball, the other major multistate lottery, will have a $43 million jackpot on the line in Pennsylvania, Delaware and 27 other states.

The cash option will be worth about $21.4 million.

No one has yet come forward with the Oklahoma ticket that won $84.9 million in Powerball's July 2 drawing.

In Wednesday night's Powerball drawing, no one won the big prize, but 11 tickets, including one purchased in Pennsylvania, won $200,000 each for matching the first five numbers - 3, 15, 23, 29 and 42 - but not the Powerball of 17.

No ticket had the first five numbers plus the Power Play of 4, a prize-multiplier option that would have paid out $800,000.

The Mega Millions drawing on Tuesday night produced just one second-prize winner, as an Illinois ticket hit the first five numbers - 19, 24, 34, 45 and 51 - but not the Mega Ball of 40.
