The Crusaders are 13-2-4 and won the Olympic Conference National Division title, beating out South Jersey Group 3 champion Seneca and South Jersey Non-Public A semifinalist Paul VI.
So far the Crusaders haven't been challenged in the state tournament, beating Sacred Heart and St. Rose by a combined 11-1 total.
The Crusaders' only losses were to undefeated Lenape, 2-0, and to Paul VI, 3-2. Eustace also beat Paul VI, 1-0.
Eustace has scored 44 goals and allowed 11, led by goalie Sara Keane, who is among the top keepers in the state. She has 11 shutouts.
Four players have made college commitments for soccer. Keane will play for West Virginia, midfielder Jackie Logue will attend Wake Forest, defender Dana Stone is headed to Johns Hopkins, and forward Gianna Garfall will attend Loyola Baltimore.
Logue leads a balanced scoring attack with nine goals and six assists. Other top scorers are Sara Martella (seven goals, three assists), Sarah Wulk, (six goals, three assists), Stone (five goals, six assists), and Garfall (three goals, four assists).
Eustace will be facing an opponent that has played better than its 13-8-1 record. All eight of Villa Walsh Academy's losses have been by one goal.
Seeded fifth in North Jersey Non-Public B, the Vikings beat top-seeded Eastern Christian, 2-1, in the semifinals and No. 6 seed Oak Knoll, 3-2, in the championship.
Sophomore Krista Longo has 25 goals and five assists. Senior Roisin O'Toole has 13 goals and sophomore Jen Racannelli has added 12 goals.
"We know how tough Eustace is," said Villa Walsh coach Rudy Simeki. "We have had a tough road to get here and have beaten some very good teams."
