SETH MEYERS HAD A great line on Weekend Update on "Saturday Night Live."

"The Super Bowl is tomorrow." Meyers said. "The Arizona Cardinals and Pittsburgh Steelers are opening up for Springsteen."

That got us to thinking about other memorable lines uttered before, during, or after the Big Game. Here, in no particular order, are some of our favorites:

* "I'd run over my own mother to win it." - Redskins guard Russ Grimm, before facing the Raiders in Super Bowl XVIII.

* "I'd run over Grimm's mother, too." - Raiders linebacker Matt Millen.

* "Defensively, I think it's important for us to tackle." - Broncos defensive tackle Karl Mecklenburg, before facing the 49ers in Super Bowl XXIV.

* "Terry Bradshaw couldn't spell 'cat' if you spotted him the 'c' and the 'a.' " - Cowboys linebacker Thomas "Hollywood" Henderson, talking about the Steelers quarterback before Super Bowl XIII.

* "I didn't say he couldn't play, just that he couldn't spell." - Henderson after Bradshaw led the Steelers over the Cowboys, 35-31.

* "I don't like this place. It's for people with arthritis. They come here to play golf and to die." - Steelers defensive tackle Ernie Holmes, talking about Miami, the site of Super Bowl X against the Cowboys.

* "Pump it in there, baby. Just keep matriculating the ball down the field, boys." - Chiefs coach Hank Stram during Super Bowl IV clash against the Vikings.

* "I'll play anywhere for $15,000." - Packers cornerback (and Philly's own) Herb Adderley, speaking on whether he'd rather play Super Bowl II against Oakland in Miami or Los Angeles.

* "If it's the ultimate game, how come they're playing it again next year?" - Cowboys running back Duane Thomas, speaking before a Super Bowl VI meeting against the Dolphins. *
