7:05, Nationals Park, Washington, D.C. TV: Comcast SportsNet. Radio: WPHT (1210-AM); WUBA (1480-AM) Spanish.

Phillies RHP Joe Blanton (0-0, 15.75) vs. RHP Shairon Martis (0-0, 9.00).

Phillies update: LF Raul Ibanez, who averaged 24 homers a year over the last four seasons playing for the Mariners at spacious Safeco Field, has hit three in his first seven games this season ... The Phillies have won three straight ... The combined earned run average of the starting rotation is 8.75, so it's not surprising that the team has trailed in every game so far ... The 1-2 hitters, Jimmy Rollins and Shane Victorino, are a combined 11-for-61 (.180) ... LHP Cole Hamels (0-1, 17.18) is expected to start for the Phillies against San Diego at Citizens Bank Park tomorrow night. RHP Chris Young (2-0, 1.38) is expected to start for the Padres.

Story continues below.

Nationals update: Martis, 22, appeared in the All-Star Futures game last July and also represented his native Curacao in the Beijing Olympics ... Washington's 0-7 start matches the worst in Nationals/Expos history (1998). The 1904 Washington Senators were 0-13-1 before getting their first win ... SS Cristian Guzman is expected to miss at least the rest of the series with a strained left hamstring suffered in his final at bat Monday ... The Nationals recalled OF Roger Bernadina from Syracuse (International League) and assigned OF Leonard Davis outright to Harrisburg (Eastern League).
