SEN. ARLEN SPECTER and wife Joan dined with Phillies slugger Chase Utley and wife Jen at La Collina (37 Ashland) in Belmont Hills after Sunday's game. The senator attends most Sunday home games. We're told Specter and Utley were gracious to fellow diners and said hello to those who approached them. Also dining there Sunday was

1340 WHAT-AM's JD, who was with

his family.

Out and aboutFrankie Valli celebrated his 75th birthday by performing at Atlantic City's Borgata. Backstage at his Saturday-night show, Lisa Gaudio gave Valli a Cartier watch, a gift from her father, Bob Gaudio, a songwriter who sang with Valli in the Four Seasons.

The watch, which Bob bought from Lisa, who works at Bernie Robbins Jewelers, in Radnor, is engraved with two hands shaking on the back, symbolic of the handshake deal Bob Gaudio and Valli have enjoyed for nearly 50 years.

Valli's pal Jerry Blavat hung with his buddy in Atlantic City over the weekend, and last night the guys partied in New York.

* Saturday night, after the

Phillies' loss to the Atlanta Braves, Utley and

outfielder Jayson Werth took in Dane Cook's show from a suite at the Spectrum. Cook was the last comedian who will play the Spectrum.

* And speaking of the Spectrum, Eagles cornerback Sheldon Brown bought six front-row seats for tomorrow's opening night of the Ringling Bros. Circus. He and his family took in the circus opening last year, too.

* Shane Victorino took fiancee Melissa, mother of his daughter, Kali'a, out for a Mother's Day dinner at the Water Works, where they were accompanied

Smith

by a group of friends.

Chef Darryl Harmon sent out seared pineapple, instead of the restaurant's signature seared watermelon, to the Flyin' Hawaiian.

* Andy Reid, wife Tammi and their kids

went for a Mother's Day meal at DelFrisco's (15th & Chestnut), where wide receiver DeSean Jackson took his mother Gayle, and Bernard "The Executioner" Hopkins and family also dined. The restaurant also played host to Chipper Jones, Jeff Francouer, Tim Hudson and about 13 other Atlanta Braves over the weekend.

* NBC10's John Clark and a friend

stopped for drinks at Victor's in Camden Friday night before taking in the Killers at the Susquehanna Bank Center.

* Radnor-raised "Murphy Brown" actor

Grant Shaud took his mother, Ann, to Mother's Day brunch at Tango (39 Morris) in Bryn Mawr, where he ran into comedian Corey Alexander, who was there with his mom, JoAnne. Alexander is the feature act this weekend at Catch a Rising Star in Princeton. He also just shot a DVD at Gotham Comedy Club that he'll soon sell at coreyalexander.net.

of honor

DiCicco is dentist's dad. Duh.We meant to say dentist Frank DiCicco was "not to be confused with his city councilman father" in an item yesterday about the younger DiCicco dating New York model Ashley Chontos, but we goofed in typing. Yesterday's item suggested that the pair weren't related. *
