Harman's single helps Reading salvage a split

READING — Brad Harman's single in the bottom of the ninth drove in the winning run as the Reading Phillies beat the Harrisburg Senators, 6-5, in the Eastern League yesterday.

Earlier, Harrisburg won the completion of a game suspended Saturday night, 2-1, in 10 innings.

Reading's Jeremy Slayden went 4 for 4 with three RBIs in the second game.

ALLENTOWN - Mike Cervanak homered and drove in three runs to lead the IronPigs past the Knights in the International League.

Completion of Saturday's suspended game.
