Phillies LHP Cliff Lee (5-1, 1.80) vs. Astros LHP Wandy Rodriguez (12-9, 2.93)

Phillies update: Lee hit his first road bump as a Phillie last weekend, allowing six runs on 10 hits, including three home runs, in five innings against the Braves ... Up until his last start, Lee had allowed five runs in four starts, all of them wins ... Lee has never faced the Astros ... The Phillies have yet to face the Astros this season. Houston travels to Citizens Bank Park Sept. 28-30 ... Heading into last night, the Phillies had posted an NL-best 2.68 ERA since Aug. 11.

Astros update: Former Phillies prospect Michael Bourn entered last night hitting .296 with 25 doubles, 11 triples and 49 stolen bases ... Wandy Rodriguez has been one of the few bright spots this season for the Astros. The 30-year-old late-bloomer has struck out 155 and walked 55 in 168 2/3 innings ... Rodriguez has allowed fewer than two runs in nine of his last 11 starts, although he allowed 14 combined in the other two ... Rodriguez is 0-1 with a 8.10 ERA in three career appearances against the Phillies, two of them in relief.
