A Philadelphia man was arraigned yesterday on charges of rape and sexual assault in connection with an attack on a disabled man at the Paoli Acme last month, Tredyffrin Township police said.
Bryan Parks, 54, was apprehended about 2 a.m. by Philadelphia officers at a homeless shelter. Tredyffrin police had distributed a composite sketch and video surveillance photo of the suspect after the 41-year-old victim came forward on Sept. 3, police said.
According to the criminal complaint, the victim, who had gone shopping with his caretaker on Aug. 8, encountered Parks in the men's room. Parks pulled the victim's wheelchair into a stall and threw the victim to the floor to assault him, the complaint said.
