Penn State's game at Michigan on Oct. 24 will begin at 3:30 and be telecast by ABC or ESPN.

Penn State (5-1, 1-1 Big Ten) plays Minnesota on Saturday. The Nittany Lions defeated Michigan, 46-17, last season in Beaver Stadium.

The Wolverines (4-2, 1-2) host Delaware State on Saturday.

Temple junior defensive back Jaiquawn Jarrett was named Mid-American Conference defensive player of the week for the East Division.

Jarrett had nine tackles, two interceptions and a fumble recovery in the Owls' 24-19 win over Ball State. Temple (3-2) plays 3-3 Army at 1 p.m. Saturday at Lincoln Financial Field.

'Nova drops to sixth

After losing to New Hampshire, 28-24, Villanova tumbled in the coaches' Football Championship Subdivision poll.

Villanova (5-1) is sixth in this week's poll. Last week, the Wildcats were second. Richmond remained the No. 1 team and received all 28 first-place votes. *
