In addition to racking up the goods in the Payoff, this veteran contestant also can boast winning tickets for a special advance IMAX screening at the Franklin Institute in 2007, Sixers tickets in 1989 and even a Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club band T-shirt in 1978.
"I almost won $10,000 once back in the 1980s," Capozio said. "The bases were loaded and Garry Maddox was at the plate when my name was called. Unfortunately, he popped up, but I came really close."
Nevertheless, Capozio plans to do big things with his latest winnings.
"I have a brother 5 years younger who could use some help, so I think I'll split the cash with him,'' he said. "The rest I'll splurge on lunch at the Four Seasons - it's my favorite watering hole and hey, I deserve it."
