Little was made of this play after the game because the Flyers won easily, 7-4.
After "further review," a story was posted in the local news that the view in question was never shown to the officials in Toronto by the Pens' video official - for obvious reasons. The Pens have decided to release a "no comment" on this matter.
Maybe I'm missing something, but how can significant decisions about a replay be decided by employees of one of the teams in the contest?
Shouldn't the league have an official at every game to decide which replay is sent to Toronto? This is a glaring oversight by the NHL to think that the "honor system" in these cases can be trusted.
I had to laugh when I saw the NHL statement concerning the integrity of the league in this matter. Anyone with half a brain knows that this policy was doomed from the start.
The Flyers get pucked again by the NHL. With this incident, the NHL again shows the world that it's a Bush League and always will be.

Wrong photo for cop
By repeatedly putting the same Tyrone Wiggins picture in your paper in his police uniform, you do a great disservice to all the hardworking, honest police officers. Please put in just a mug shot like any other low-life arrested for raping a child.
