Retooling The Phillies

The process of reaching back-to-back World Series and aiming for a third consecutive trip involves retooling the roster. Here is a look at the Phillies' World Series rosters in 2008 and 2009 as well as an early projection of this season's roster. (The Phillies carried 11 pitchers in 2008 and 12 in 2009 at the end of the year. Outfielder So Taguchi was on the roster in 2008, and pitcher Antonio Bastardo in 2009.)
