Child-aid workers visit Charlie Sheen's house

CHARLIE SHEEN's publicist, Stan Rosenfeld, says child-services workers went to Sheen's home this weekend for a routine visit.

If they had come to take Sheen's kids away, chances are that Rosenfeld would not be the one blabbing about it.

Instead, he said, the visit had been scheduled and was procedural. He declined to discuss specifics.

The visit was connected to a pending felony domestic-violence case in Aspen, Colo., against the "Two and a Half Men" star.

Story continues below.

The child-services department says it can't confirm that workers had gone to Sheen's home or that there was any case involving the actor or his wife, Brooke Mueller.

You know it's an interesting news cycle when Brooke Mueller's stepfather is doling out exclusives.

Brooke apparently left rehab because of an information leak.

"We, her parents, are very upset about this, that a private facility would go so far as to break their security like this . . . for what? That is totally ridiculous," Fiore said.

According to London's Daily Mail, Gerry Boyle says his sister Susan is desperate to find someone to share her happiness.

"Susan has the world at her feet in terms of fame and money, but at this precise moment in time it means nothing, absolutely nothing," Gerry said. "The one thing she wants above all everything else is love. Who doesn't?

"Her biggest wish is to find someone who she can share her success with and support her through the difficult times.

"Of course her family will always be there for her, but it is not the same as having someone special in your life."
