APPARENTLY, Bill Conlin remembers Jim Bunning giving him a blow-off answer when he pitched for the Phillies.
But Bunning has moved on. He's one of the very few senators in either party who is fiscally reprehensible.
Instead of sending all that TARP money to the banks, Bunning would give it to all those people Conlin listed.
Conlin has also moved on.
He has an active interest in weather conditions.
I'm guessing his field of interest is hot air masses. That's a field of expertise that he's honed on the sports pages for the last 50 years.
