Speaking of downloads, Adam Carolla, who's had more TV shows (The Man Show) and radio shows (Loveline; The Adam Carolla Show) than many networks, now has one of the hottest podcasts in the whole Internet. Since CBS dropped his radio gig last year, there've been more than 65 million downloads of the cleverly titled "Adam Carolla Show" (www.adamcarolla.com/ACPBlog), on which he and guests such as Johnny Knoxville (on Monday), Seth MacFarlane, and Jimmy Kimmel swap guy-type humor. Adam's a study in the alt-celeb career: cable TV; satellite radio; obligatory failure at Dancing With the Stars (he and Julianne Hough flopped in 2008). He's also doing a traveling stand-up thing, One Man Show, up and down the West Coast.

Bynes burned out, says bye-bye

Amanda Bynes, all of 24, announced her retirement on Twitter on Saturday. "If I don't love something anymore," she tweeted, "I stop doing it. I don't love acting anymore, so I've stopped doing it." A child star on Nickelodeon, she was among Teen People's "25 Hottest Stars Under 25" in 2006, and got listed in Forbes in 2007 as the fifth-highest-paid celebrity under 21 with earnings of $2.5 million.

On Father's Day, how tweet it is

Father's Day is a big Twitter day for celebs. Singer Pink relayed Dad's Day wishes all day. Yoko Ono tweeted: "For Fathers Day 2010: MY DADDY IS BEAUTIFUL," and linked to her blog, with a pikkie of John Lennon playing with son Sean in 1977. Cyclist Lance Armstrong's son Max tweeted him (sure he did): "Happy Father's Day Daddy!!" and Daddy answered, "Thanks Max!!!" For an alternative view, we leave you with Spencer Pratt, husband to plastic-surgery record-setter Heidi. Spence tweeted: "This is the day my earth dad wishes he had worn a condom. No joke."
