A Bucks County borough councilman was arrested Tuesday on charges that he molested a 12-year-old boy in 2002, county prosecutors said.
William R. Kuder Jr., 48, of Jasen Drive, was charged with attempted involuntary deviate sexual intercourse and indecent assault for two encounters, prosecutors said. Kuder, a Chalfont Borough councilman, is alleged to have lured the boy into his house and then fondled the child and attempted to perform oral sex on him.
Reached by telephone at his home, Kuder declined to comment. He was released on $100,000 unsecured bail and a preliminary hearing is set for Aug. 19.
