WASHINGTON - Here is how Philadelphia-area members of Congress were recorded on major roll-call votes last week:

House

Iran economic sanctions. Members voted, 408-8, to send President Obama the conference report on a bill imposing economic sanctions on any private or state-run company that exports petroleum products to Iran or aids Iran's energy sector. A yes vote gave final approval to the bill (HR 2194).

Voting yes: John Adler (D., N.J.), Robert E. Andrews (D., N.J.), Robert A. Brady (D., Pa.), Michael N. Castle (R., Del.), Charles W. Dent (R., Pa.), Chaka Fattah (D., Pa.), Jim Gerlach (R., Pa.), Tim Holden (D., Pa.), Frank A. LoBiondo (R., N.J.), Patrick Murphy (D., Pa.), Joseph R. Pitts (R., Pa.), Allyson Y. Schwartz (D., Pa.), Joe Sestak (D., Pa.), and Christopher H. Smith (R., N.J.).

Campaign funding. Members voted, 219-206, to require companies, unions and interest groups to fully identify themselves when they fund campaign ads. For TV ads, the disclosures will be on screen. The bill would exempt nationwide organizations at least 10 years old with more than 500,000 members - such as the National Rifle Association and AARP - from disclosure requirements. A yes vote backed a bill (HR 5175) also barring bailout recipients from funding ads.

Voting yes: Adler, Andrews, Brady, Castle, Fattah, Murphy, Schwartz, and Sestak.

Voting no: Dent, Gerlach, Holden, LoBiondo, Pitts, and Smith.

Republican proposals. Members defeated, 208-217, a GOP bid to require quick judicial review if HR 5175 (above) were to become law. A yes vote backed a motion that also sought to bar "robocalls" by outside groups and expand the bill to cover lobbyists for terrorism-sponsoring nations.

Voting yes: Castle, Dent, Gerlach, LoBiondo, Pitts, and Smith.

Voting no: Adler, Andrews, Brady, Fattah, Holden, Murphy, Schwartz, and Sestak.

Out-of-state money. Voting 274-152, members required companies, unions, and interest groups funding campaign ads to identify their principal place of business. A yes vote backed a measure to reveal the extent to which out-of- state interests seek to sway local and statewide races (HR 5175).

Voting yes: Adler, Andrews, Brady, Castle, Dent, Fattah, Gerlach, Murphy, LoBiondo, Schwartz, Sestak, and Smith.
