Clearing the record

June 29, 2010

A story Monday mischaracterized the position of Philadelphia District Attorney Seth Williams regarding whether to continue an agreement between the city and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement to share arrest data. While Mayor Nutter and Police Commissioner Charles H. Ramsey want to terminate the agreement when it comes up for renewal Thursday, Williams has not taken a public position on the matter.

A headline and caption Monday with a photograph of a four-alarm fire wrongly stated its location, which was in the 3400 block of Indiana Avenue in North Philadelphia.
