A 58-year-old woman was killed about 5:30 p.m. Saturday when she lost control of her northbound car on Roosevelt Boulevard near Strahle Street in Northeast Philadelphia, police said.
The car was moving fast, police said, when it tapped the bumper of another car and spun out of control, slamming into a tree.
The woman, whose name was not released, was pronounced dead at the scene. - Melissa Dribben
