Yesterday's hearing was a result of her missing a court date in May - when her passport was, uh, stolen, in Cannes. Since then, she has been required to wear an ankle alcohol monitor - a very delicate model that may have been set off either by someone spilling a drink near her at an MTV Movie Awards after-party or her fondness for Kombucha tea.
Whatever, when the bracelet went off, prosecutors called it an "alcohol-related" violation.
Revel, however, said she would not allow the negative report into the hearing nor would she consider whether Lindsay did booze it up after the MTV awards.
Revel said she would consider only whether Lindsay failed to complete the required number of alcohol-ed courses on time.
That turned out to be a no.
Along came an e-book
James Patterson's publisher, Hachette, says he's the first author to exceed one million sales in electronic book delivery.
Hachette says Patterson has moved 1.14 million units of his books for devices like Kindle and the iPad. In print, Patterson's books have sold more than 205 million copies, making him so rich he can afford to pay other people to actually write the books.
Tattle, however, still can't understand why book companies feel the need to charge for e-books. If they followed the newspaper model, they would charge only for the printed books and give the electronic ones away for free.

* George Michael has been arrested - again - after a car crash in London.
The BBC says Michael, 47, was arrested Sunday, after officers responded to reports that his car went WHAM! into a building.
Metropolitan police said only that they arrested a man in his 40s early Sunday in Hampstead on suspicion of being unfit to drive. They say the man was taken to a police station and released on bail pending further inquiries.
British news sources determined that man was Michael.
