7 wounded in two shootings in Phila.

Seven people were wounded, two critically, in shootings Wednesday night and early today in Philadelphia, police said.

In the latest outbreak of violence, a young gunman fired at three men on the 4900 block of North Camac Street in the Logan section, police said.

One 50-year-old man who was shot in the chest was reported in critical condition. The other two men - ages 41 and 51 - are expected to survive.

Police, who are seeking a motive, say the gunman was 17 to 20 years old.

Earlier, at about 9:20 p.m., bullets ripped through a neighborhood in the Frankford section, wounding four people.

One 23-year0old man who was shot in the face and neck was in critical condition at Aria Health's Torresdale Campus following the shooting outside a bar at Bridge and Hawthorne Streets, police said.

The other three victims - two 19-year-old man and a 23 year old man - are reported in stable condition.

Chief Inspector Scott Small said investigators recovered at least 16 shell casings at the scene and found bullet holes in some nearby houses.

No one inside the homes was hit, he said.

There is no word yet on a motive.
