Minor Leagues: Visiting Bisons trample IronPigs

ALLENTOWN - Buffalo beat the IronPigs in International League action Monday night, accumulating 15 hits on their way to an 8-1 rout.

The only bright spot for the IronPigs was the hitting of John Mayberry, who was two for four, including a double.

Lakewood 10, W. Virginia 6

CHARLESTON, W.Va. - The visiting Lakewood BlueClaws outlasted the Power in a South Atlantic League game that was tied at the end of nine innings, tied again at the end of 10, and was not settled until Lakewood scored four runs in the top of the 12th.

Long Island 11, Camden 7

CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. - The Long Island Ducks got 11 hits against the visiting Camden Riversharks and made every single one of them count in Atlantic League action.

The Ducks got going early, scoring six runs against righthander Derell McCall, who took the loss and lasted just 21/3 innings.
