Police are asking for the public's help in finding four armed men who broke into a Bryn Mawr home early yesterday and bound and robbed the residents.
The men entered the home on Heather Lane near Glenwyd Road through an unlocked door just after 3:30 a.m., police said. They tied up the residents, pistol-whipped one, stole cash and a 52-inch television, then fled. Police say the thugs deliberately targeted that home.
The first robber was black, 6 feet 1, 190 pounds, wearing a white-and-black bandana, dark clothing and a black Phillies hat with a white "P," with tattoos of unknown writings on his right and left upper biceps. The second robber was black, 5 feet 4, 150-160 pounds, wearing dark pants and a white T-shirt. The third robber was black, 6 feet 1, muscular, wearing a white bandana, black pants and a black shirt. The fourth robber was black and wore dark-colored clothing and a dark-colored bandana.
