One man was killed and two others injured in a shooting attack Thursday night in the city's Francisville section, police said.
Bullets began flying at 9:46 p.m. in the 1700 block of Wylie Street, police said. A 40-year-old man who lived on the block was shot twice in the neck and once in the right leg and was pronounced dead at 10:07 p.m. at Hahnemann University Hospital.
A second man, 33, from the city's Castor section, was shot twice in the chest and was reported in critical condition at Hahnemann, police said. A third man, 30, who also lived on the block, was shot in the left thigh and was placed in stable condition at Hahnemann.
