  • Nadya "Octomom" Suleman, shown in a shirt promoting pet adoption, reportedly has signed over her house. (See "Tidbits 'n' pieces.")

Newly minted politician Levi Johnston isn't the only young'un turning his part in Alaska's worst love disaster into gold.

E!Online reports that Levi's onetime intended, Bristol Palin, has been cast on the 11th edition of Dancing With the Stars.

Bristol, 19, whose son by Levi, Tripp Easton Mitchell Johnston, was born two days after Christmas 2008, has previously made public appearances on behalf of teen-pregnancy causes.

Her mom, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, is the most important politician ever to utter that ambrosial phrase, the tea party.

E! says other celebs cast for the new season include David Hasselhoff, Audrina Patridge, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, and Brandy.

An ABC rep has refused to comment, saying the cast will be announced Monday.

How long can Miley Cyrus deny it?

UsMagazine.com claims it has proof that the Hannah Montana survivor's romance with Aussie thesp Liam Hemsworth has been shattered - into many ugly, sharp shards of hatred and self-recrimination, to put it in purple prose.

In March, while stumping for their romantic flick Last Song, Miley told Ellen DeGeneres she knew Liam was special when they first met.

"He opened the door for me," said Miley, "and I was like, 'I have been in L.A. for three years and I don't think any guy has actually opened the door for me.' " No, that's not some poetic metaphor about his prying open her wounded heart: He literally opened a door for her, and she was impressed he was such a polite boy. The basis for a lasting relationship?

Guess not. So what's the proof? No idea.

No comment from Miley's rep.

The Oscars ruined?

No more Sunday nights spent worrying about your favorite films. No more excuses to be late on Mondays - the day we all hate so very much. Variety says the annual Academy Awards telecast could move from Sunday to Monday night if the NFL has its way: Beginning in the 2012-13 season, the football season could be expanded from 16 to 18 games, which would mean the Oscars could be moved to a Monday in February.
