Two men killed in Southwest Phila. car crash

Two men were killed Sunday morning in an automobile crash on South 61st Street in Southwest Philadelphia.

According to police, a 58-year-old man traveling south at a high speed swerved his black Chevrolet Impala into oncoming traffic when he reached the 3200 block of the street about 9:15 a.m.

His car struck a blue Chevy Tracker driven by a 38-year-old man.

Both men were pronounced dead at the scene. Police did not release the name of either man Sunday afternoon pending notification of family. - Joelle Farrell
