Marc S. Raspanti, a partner in the Philadelphia office of the law firm Pietragallo, Gordon, Alfano, Bosick & Raspanti L.L.P., has been reappointed by Gov. Rendell to the Pennsylvania Commission on Sentencing. The commission is an agency of the General Assembly affiliated with Pennsylvania State University. It works to create a consistent, rational statewide policy to promote fairer, more uniform sentencing. Raspanti is chairman of his firm's White Collar Criminal Defense Group.

Hopeworks 'N Camden, a Camden nonprofit training program, has named Candida Seasock to its board. Seasock is the founder and president of CTS Partners.

The Geographical Society of Philadelphia, a nonprofit organization founded in 1891, has elected the following members to its board:

Nancy Gabel taught French for 35 years in the Wallingford-Swarthmore School District and founded the French International School in Bala Cynwyd.

Joseph Selfridge is the director of international studies at La Salle College High School and West Philadelphia Catholic High School.

Alyce Stick was president of Computer Relevance Inc., Gladwyne.

John White is a lawyer at the Law Offices of John White, Philadelphia.

Montgomery County Community College president Karen A. Stout has been elected to the National Junior College Athletic Association board.

Patricia A. Oelrich was elected to the board of Pepco Holdings Inc., an energy-delivery company. She had been vice president of IT risk management for GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals P.L.C.

Community Interactions Inc., a Swarthmore organization serving individuals with disabilities in 60 community-living settings in Pennsylvania and Delaware, has named Melissa Ann Osborne to its board. She is a practicing lawyer.

Richard A. Delaney has been appointed to the national board of directors and the executive committee of the Society of American Military Engineers, a professional organization. He is an architect at EwingCole Inc., Philadelphia.

Timothy Conboy, a lawyer from the Pittsburgh law firm Caroselli, Beachler, McTiernan & Conboy, has been elected the 43d president of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, a Philadelphia trial-lawyer association.
